Son of Stone

Issue Number 117

September 1978

Story by Paul S. Newman, art by Jack Sparling. In "Deadly Waters," something is killing honkers, and whatever eats their flesh dies too. Turok and Andar discover that a man-made dam is the source of the poisonings, but it is guarded by a hostile cave tribe. Then, the Indians are all out of poison arrows, and that means a trip to the poison berry patch. But, someone else has discovered the power of the poison berries. A caveman learns that the berries kill when eaten. Now, Turok and Andar's secret has become "The Caveman's Secret Weapon."
