The first story in this book is called "There Is A Way Out." While looking for a way out of the valley, Turok and Andar save a former medicine man from his tribe. He tells them he knows of a way out of Lost Valley, and leads them to it. It turns out that he is telling the truth, but death is waiting for them on their way out. Then, in "The Last Poison Arrow," Turok and Andar's last poison arrow is stolen by a caveman who uses it to gain power in his tribe. When the two Indians try to reclaim it, they are captured and threatened with death.
