Turok and Andar's secrets are learned by ape-like men in "The Imitators." In part one, "The Missing Arrows," they find a couple of their arrows are missing from the carcass of a flesh-eater. Andar's bow is broken, but when they make him a new one, they are observed from the trees. They are also being watched when they build a campfire, and soon see smoke from another campfire in another part of the jungle. When they investigate, they are overcome and captured by the ape-men who have been watching them. In part two, "Climb To Freedom," they try to get the ape-men to help them climb the cliff out to their homeland. They are excellent climbers, but are they good enough to scale the sheer walls of Lost Valley?
