Turok and Andar are once again captured and pressured into divulging the secret of fire in "The Savage Flame." In part one, "Into The Net," they are saved from a fall by some net-men, but when they are discovered to be fire-makers, they become prisoners. The chief of the savages claims to know a way out of Lost Valley, and Turok agrees to trade the secret of fire for the secret of the way out. They escape when a flaming torch is thrown by someone unknown, cutting them off from the net-men. In part two, "Playing With Fire," the two Indians discover who threw the torch; a rival cave tribe has acquired fire from a lightning storm. Turok is determined to make sure neither tribe has the advantage of fire.
