While rafting down a river gorge, Turok and Andar become separated by a "Menace From The Depths." In part one, their raft is overturned by "The Unseen Hands." Turok makes it to the shore, but Andar is nowhere to be seen. In part two, "Menace From The Depths," Turok is captured by river men after being forced back to the water. He is reunited with Andar, but they are both to be used as bait as the river people hunt.
