This is an unusual issue because it doesn't have one of those wonderful paintings on the cover. The art comes from the second story. In the first story, "Honker Alive-Or Andar Dead," Turok and Andar are wading through a deep swamp when they are attacked by a plesiosaur. They kill it, but find out that it was the guardian for the swamp men that live there. Turok is forced to go out and return with a live replacement, or the primitives will kill Andar. Then, in "The Peak of Peril," Lost Valley is in drought, and Turok and Andar are searching for water. They save an old man, abandoned by his tribe, and he says he knows where to find water. Turok believes him, and they follow him, hoping to find water soon.
