"The Savage Shadow" is a two-part tale of Turok and Andar's exploration of a hole in the cliff wall of Lost Valley, which they hope will lead to a way out. The cave is home to countless pteranadons that hunt at night. When the caverns end with no way to the other side, Turok and Andar must escape from the ravenous hordes of flying honkers. The cover of this issue is later re-used for TUROK #99, but the knife in Turok's right hand is strangely missing.
