Turok and Andar encounter a tribe that leaves offerings to "The Phantom Honker." They see it for themselves, glowing in the forest, and neither knives nor poison arrows can kill it. In the second story, Andar is captured by "The River Raiders," and they force him to help them defeat their enemies. Meanwhile, Turok doesn't know where to find Andar, so he goes to the adversaries of Andar's captors and tries to enlist their help.
