Andar, impatient to find an escape from Lost Valley, recklessly rafts across a mist shrouded river, reluctantly followed by Turok. Climbing the cliffs they find on the other side, they become "Prey Of The Flying Monsters." In the next story, "Scavenger Of The Storm", we find Turok washing ashore clinging to a log during a storm. To find Andar, he recalls the events that brought him there, and back tracks to the perils that await him and threaten Andar.
