Recently, in the
basement of the building that once housed the DELL Comics offices,
workers stumbled upon a hidden vault obstructed by boxes full of old
fossils and Native American artifacts. Once inside, they found a well-preserved
storage room full of artwork once used in the titles DELL published.
Among these pieces were canvases of covers never published. What the
reasons may be why they were never printed will probably never be
known. So here, for the first time anywhere, we present |
...ok, so that's
not really true. Peter Von Sholly is a 21st century man, a professional
artist and a huge Turok fan. He has the enviable occupation of storyboard
artist, and has worked on such films as The Shawshank Redemption,
The Green Mile, James and the Giant Peach, Disney's Dinosaur, Mars
Attacks!, Darkman and many other films. He created these "faux"
Turok covers as a sort of tribute to the original comic character.
