ORNITHOMIMUS
|
| ORNITHOMIMUS was a very bird-like dinosaur that resembled an ostrich. In fact it's name means "bird mimic". These dinosaurs had a toothless beak and large eyes and probably ate both plants and animals, including insects and smaller animals, eggs, fruits and vegetables. It had very long legs and probably was a very fast runner. They lived during the Cretaceous period in what is now North America.
